WHO WE ARE
When our church was first established in 1964 at 1284 E Bullard Ave, this part of Northeast Fresno was still farmland. From the very beginning, our church members focused on building healthy relationships with each other and with their surrounding neighborhood. Today, we are still driven by this desire to build healthy relationships as we seek to do God's work in our own lives and in our city. We love being part of God's mission for Fresno!
What Does This Mean?
You won't find our church trying to compete with flashiest or trendiest churches in town. We believe that the deepest human need in our community is for meaningful relationships. We know that relationships can easily become cliques where no one new is included, but we work hard to find spaces for those who long to fill the deepest spiritual and relational needs of their lives. This is what you should primarily see when you encounter our church.
How Does This Play Out?
Our vision statement helps us understand what we need to do over the next five years. We aspire to be a growing, inclusive, multi-generational body of believers committed to service. This means many things, but it means that we value the ways in which we build connections as we learn, work and serve. We solicit your feedback on how people could or should fit in to our church community and on how we can better serve our community.
Founded in 1964 on what was the most northeastern edge of Fresno, the College Church of Christ has been a solid source of Christian witness and teaching to folks in Fresno, Clovis, at Fresno State University and beyond.
